experiments

I have been doing some experimenting with my webcam. I have been attempting to photograph my room to see if the camera could capture a good tonal range.

Here are two of the images:
So far I have concluded the image quality to be not so good, but I am pretty impressed how well it captured the highlights and shadows, especially in the window image. Neat!

On another note... I have a new project on the go and I am looking for new locations to shoot (not with my webcam, with my real camera). I am looking for domestic spaces that get a lot of natural light. If you wouldn't mind me photographing things and rooms in your home for about an hour, please e-mail me at maltese.sabrina (at) gmail (dot) com.

This is a piece of a photograph I took of a mustard field on the way to my cottage. The photo in it's entirety will be on my website soon, once I finish creating my new work in progress gallery (yay!) For now, only a small taste of the mustard.

Better Late Than Never

Here are some photos of my booth at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition...

Here is my table close up.

One wall gets a close-up.

A really flattering picture of my parents in my tent.
